Ashar Aziz is a pioneering Pakistani-American cybersecurity expert who founded FireEye, one of the world's leading cybersecurity companies, and developed the virtual machine-based security technology that transformed cyber threat detection. He has held senior positions in leading technology companies and holds numerous patents in cybersecurity. His Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 2018 recognised his groundbreaking contributions to global technology and cybersecurity.
